Connecting Korean Innovation With the Middle East
The Korean Content Startup Launchpad Program in Dubai marked a powerful step toward deepening collaboration between Korea’s vibrant tech scene and the rapidly evolving Middle Eastern innovation ecosystem. The excitement, energy, and ambition shared throughout the event showcased just how aligned both regions are when it comes to embracing the future.
One of the proud highlights for IFAVH was seeing our Founder, Philipp Peischl, selected among 28 Middle East experts to engage in follow-ups and support the program’s mission. Together, these experts contributed to 33 secured meetings with pioneering Korean startups highlighting the strong interest and potential for cross-border partnerships.
Organized by KOCCA (한국콘텐츠진흥원), Plug and Play Tech Center, Play Korea, CuveeApril, KoreaTechDesk, and AsiaTechDaily, the initiative brought together an impressive 71 ecosystem leaders. The shared insights, mentorship, and collaboration made this Launchpad Program not just an event but a catalyst for long-term innovation exchange.
The showcased startups delivered standout solutions across AI, XR, smart tourism, music tech, lifestyle innovation, digital art, gaming, and safety education. Their creativity and execution left a lasting impression and created exciting pathways for cooperation and market entry within the Middle East.
As the momentum continues to build, we’re especially looking forward to welcoming emerging innovators particularly in Energy, Mobility, AI, and Robotics at GITEX Expand North Star 2025 this October in Dubai. The future of Korea–UAE collaboration is bright, and this program marks just the beginning.
